As the owner of Quite Contrary Gifts, I have personally dealt with cancer myself and witnessed loved family members and friends deal with this devastating disease.  I have personally suffered from cancer twice (thyroid and kidney) and must continuously undergo preventative scans due to my history and a gene mutation. One of my children suffered from Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 16. My mother and all 4 of her siblings had some form of cancer, and 3 passed away as a result of their fight. My grandfather passed within months of his own cancer diagnosis. Cancer is a fight no one should have to go through. 

I also suffer from a couple of different Chronic Illnesses and Chronic Pain. I have found that humor helps me get through the day!
